the silly 3gb memory barrier
Crap, I got sucked into the 3Gb memory barrier. Ridiculous how they all keep bending over backwards to have backwards compatibility (pun intended :) ).
Also worth mentioning is that on most regular x86_64 based systems with more than 4gb of ram, you will still have a hole between 3 and 4 gb. I tell ya, backwards compatibility just seems like such a dumb idea. Really. I could live without old windows crap. No worries.
